Any private or personal entries on this journal are kept on a friends only basis, and I am officially re-opening to new friends as of today, which would be August 31st, 2009. HAI GUYS, SRS BSNS POST TIEM. I have to admit, I'm a total fanfic whore addict when it comes to TXF. I'm forever scouring the internets looking for good fic I've never read, and sites like Gossamer, Ephemeral, The MSR Fanfic Archive, and LJ itself have been invaluable in my ongoing quest.

I've decided to do a collection of posts with my personal fic recommendations more as a way of keeping an archive of said fics, rather than for anyone else's benefit. But the XF fans on my flist are obviously more than welcome to peruse and add their own comments and musings. I welcome it, just as I urge anyone who is interested to take a look at the 16 fics I've listed underneath the cut. Some are humourous, some are angsty, but each is beautifully written and adds to the XF universe rather than trying to re-write it, which to me is the mark of a good fic.
